Well hello there! Yea, that was a bit of a hiatus in posts. Been busy with work, but I'm back and my goal is to be consistent in the next couple of weeks. Motivate me to get this shot done.
Just another update. Essentially my first spline pass with some texturing. No updates with the guy, just working on the acting beats of the women. I've got plenty to do, but it's getting there. I'll have something new for you guys next week.

Blocking Plused
Oh Yeaaaa! We're on a roll!
As promised (a little late, but better late then never) an update.
My main focus was the acting beats and the eye direction for the female character (Hannah), but at the same time still trying to keep it simple and acting within the poses. It's coming along, but so much to do. Next step: THE DREADED SPLINGING PASS!!! Stay tuned

It's Alive..... IT'S ALLIIIIVVVVVEEEEE!!! (for now)
Hey Everyone!
It's been pretty crazy at the o'l R&H for quite sometime. Finished up on my marketing work for Hop and went on to some DVD extra's which will most likely appear on a later post, but for now.........
Personal Work!!!
It's just the first pass of blocking, so there's not much going on right now. My main focus is to keep the poses simple and clear.
This shot has been quite a challenge so far. I've gone through three blocking passes to get to this point, but I have learned a butt load doing it. I'll hopefully post on a regular basis (once a week) and bring this blog back to life. Stay tuned to your local broadcasting...

IT'S A POST!!!!

It's been forever, but I have something to post! (party time) Here are a few things I've been working on at work. They are simple poses for promotional stuff, but it was fun to do.

Exciting News: Round #2
Hey Guys,
I have been a bit flaky on the posting, so I apologize, but I come with exciting news. (hmm... this seems familiar... anyway)
Most of you know, but for those that haven't found out yet, I am a Character Animator at Rhythm & Hues!!! I just started this week and it's pretty awesome. Currently I'm working on Hop. It's going to be a lot of fun. Here's the teaser trailer:
Funny enough, I did a couple of shots on there as a technical animator (the close up hand shot and the very last shot of the sequence.)
Also, almost done with AM... only a few weeks left and I CAN'T WAIT!
Anyway, going back into the cave to finish up on my schooling's. I'll post up my final work shortly. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
